Applications Development Director directs all activities and develops policies and procedures related to the design, analysis, testing, coding, and implementation of applications. Enhances operations by establishing metrics, analyzing processes, and implementing standard methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables. Being an Applications Development Director oversees review of development proposals, projects, timelines, resources, and costs. Develops feedback processes for peer reviews, code reviews, and design reviews. Requirements
· An associate degree or four-year
degree in electrical engineering, electrical technology or manufacturing
technology.
· In lieu of a degree, experience
working in these fields at a manufacturing company.
· The ability to successfully perform
in a fast pace short time frame team environment.
· Determine electrical and
manufacturing requirements based on the customer’s requirements and application
· Acquire a knowledge of the bill of
materials of the products to be able to respond to customer’s requirements
Preferred Requirements
· Knowledge of wiring harness components
and assembly process
· Experience with Microsoft Navision
