  • OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:

    The Director of Clinical Services (DCS) is responsible for the delivery of quality therapeutic and clinical services and programming to youth in residential foster care and families participating in services at Landmarks for Families (Landmarks for Families). Day-to-day responsibilities include, but not limited to: design, delivery, and oversight of individual case management services; administration of assessments; coordination of treatment team and child and family team meetings; delivery of therapeutic and other clinical services; and facilitation of L.Y.G.H.T. and Strengthening Families (10 - 16) programs.

    The DCS must be committed to optimizing the sustainability and effectiveness of existing programs and services, working closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to deepen staff and organizational capacity to deliver quality clinical services, using data as a critical tool to inform learning, reflective practice, program performance, and produce positive outcomes for youth and families. The DCS will also work closely with the COO to identify, assess, and evaluate opportunities to expand current services or programs and/or implement new services or programs.

    The DCS will report directly to the COO and work collaboratively to set and promote the culture, vision and mission of the Landmarks for Families, achieve annual and strategic plan goals, and advocate for youth and family rights. The DCS will directly supervise CARE managers and Family Teachers assigned to facilitate groups.


    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Program Design, Implementation and Operations:

    Responsible for the design and delivery of Landmarks for Families's clinical services and individualized case management services for youth. Works closely with COO to meet quality, outcome, and efficiency standards and to adhere to best practices in the sector.

    Risk Management, Quality Assurance and Program Evaluation

    Assists COO in ensuring that Landmarks for Families programs and services meet the highest quality of professional standards and operate in compliance with all external regulatory, funding and/or accrediting entities.

    Staff, Intern and Volunteer Management and Development:

    Responsible for providing training, professional development, and evaluation of Case Managers. Deliver training, professional development, and coaching to program staff, interns, and volunteers to promote professional, efficient, and high-quality delivery of services and operations and to build career paths for residential staff.

    Budget and Contract Management and Reporting:

    Assists COO with budget, contract management, and reporting to ensure that programs and services are fully funded, operate in an efficient manner and comply with all reporting and funding requirements.


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Functional Knowledge: Senior Level

    Education and Specific Training: Bachelor's degree in Social Work is required; licensure or Graduate Degree in related field preferred.

    Experience: Minimum of 3 years.

    Responsibility Level: Acts independently or as a leader to uncover and resolve problems associated with the development and implementation of clinical service delivery and program operations.

    Supervisory Responsibility: This is a supervisory position that supervises the clinical service team of staff, interns and volunteers.
