    Position Summary:
    The Business Development Manager is a critical member of the development team that acts as the external facing representative of BrightView across all organizational levels. The Business Development Manager’s primary role is to achieve target census and admission objectives through focused referral generation and strategic brand-building initiatives. This individual will act as the community liaison/outside sales representative for BrightView’s varied locations and service lines to identify, establish, and maintain communication and relationships with potential referring partners in the respective communities in which BrightView serves. They are responsible for attending community events, being a liaison with health systems, facilitating interaction with the criminal justice community, and interfacing with complimentary service providers in the substance use disorder marketplace.

    Essential Job Duties:
    • Understand the mission of BrightView and plan outreach efforts to administer it appropriately

    • Develop in-depth knowledge of BrightView service offering/maintain clear pathways for patients to enter BrightView treatment

    • Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with key potential referral partners to drive admissions

    • Develop and/or implement outreach activities, campaigns, and strategies to cultivate community awareness and engagement with BrightView

    • Organize, attend, and/or participate in special events and promotions advocating for BrightView and our patients

    • Act as a liaison for external marketing campaigns and advertisements

    • Be a resource for care providers and management to manage relationships with third party organizations to whom BrightView provides services

    • Meet with care providers across all BrightView locations to collect ideas and resources to share across the organization

    • Actively engage/educate and develop community stakeholder relationships at all levels increasing brand awareness in the marketplace

    • Serve as spokesperson/representative for the BrightView organization at meetings and special events, implementing outreach strategies and communications

    • Establish and maintain effective relationships with local, state and federal agencies, employers and other parties to develop/maintain clear pathways for patient access to treatment

    • Identify relevant trends and market opportunities, providing guidance and development on marketing materials to support outreach efforts

    • Maintain accurate recordkeeping duties/support for contact management, trend analysis and reporting

    • Assist Clinical and Medical teams in addressing market specific initiatives and coordination of liaison activities

    Required Education/Degree:
    Associate Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred

    Required Certification/License:
    Not applicable or required

    Required Work Experience:
    2 years preferred in a related experience

    Other Preferred Qualifications:
    • Proven ability to achieve sales or business development objectives

    • Active knowledge of addiction medicine/behavioral health industry/markets

    • Outgoing personality, ability to connect and engage people openly and build rapport

    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with various teams

    • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business or related equivalent

    • Ability to travel when needed and flexibility in scheduling

    • Excellent communication skills, time management and ability to utilize reporting and CRM software platforms
