Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Group Manager for its Tampa, Florida location.

Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Design and develop solutions to meet requirements gathered on our multi-year, multi-asset program. Conduct research on new products and technologies to ensure latest products available. Work on backend services. Package and deploy applications in a distributed environment. Design scalable and reusable APIs. Design batch services to collect, load and reload data. Evaluate new technology to improve and optimize existing solutions. Implement central cache in distributed micro services architecture. Participate in implementation of saga design pattern. Follow agile methodologies for release planning and prioritizing. Work on Odata to follow write once and reuse development strategy. Use cyberark for retrieving passwords and monitoring tools like app dynamics for application. Resolve technical issues and design problems. Use Windows, Linux, centos 7, Sun Solaris, kubernetes, multiplatform env, Docker, Maven, Gradle, Grafana, Kibana, and Prometheus to analyze operating system configurations and parameters to make sure code deployed is working with high optimization and efficiency. Track performance and failure. Use HP ALM, TrackWise QMS Module, Tableau, Eclipse, SQL developer, and visual code to develop code and connect with backend. Use Oracle, Neo4j, Influx, and Postgres databases to store data for backend support to run and provide services to users. Use scripting languages including Java, J2EE, Spring boot, Shell Scripting, Oauth2, PL/SQL and javascript to build core application and to code business logic in various applications. Use Manta, Solidatus, AppDynamics, Linkurious, Kibana, AppDynamics to setup conceptual data model, logical data model and physical data model. Use Oracle, Neo4j to run graph queries. Use OpenShift, Kubernetes, Dockers, Springboot, Microservice, Zuul, Eureka, Python, ELK, Filebeat, Fluentbit, Jenkins, and Elastic Search stack to develop native cloud application that follows microservices pattern. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent), in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 8 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as an Applications Development Group Manager, Software Engineer, Assistant Consultant or related position. 8 years of experience must include: Windows, Linux, centos 7, multiplatform env, Maven, Gradle, and Kibana; HP ALM, Eclipse, and SQL developer; Redis, Oracle(SQL/PLSQL), Neo4j, Influx,  and Postgres; Java, J2EE, Spring boot, Shell Scripting, and Oauth2; Kubernetes and Docker. 2 years of experience must include: Visual studio code and Tableau; Javascript, Kafka, and MQ; Manta, Solidatus, AppDynamics, and Linkurious; OpenShift, Microservice, Zuul, Eureka, Python, ELK, Filebeat, Fluentbit, Jenkins, and Elastic Search.
