    Since 1997, FEDCO has been a global leader in the design and manufacture of high-pressure pumps and energy recovery devices for fresh, brackish, and sea water reverse osmosis systems.     Position summary:
    The supply chain manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective sourcing, procurement, receiving, inventory, and transportation of materials required to produce FEDCO products. Leverage FEDCO’s foreign trade zone (FTZ) to reduce duty payments on imported goods. Directly manage and develop the purchasing and materials teams.
    Essential functions
    • Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies that align with our business goals.
    • Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Track and measure key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Developing and maintaining documentation on procedures, workflows, and process flows.
    • Manage departmental budgets.
    • Effectively lead and develop purchasing and materials teams.
    • Some travel required both domestic and international as needed.
    Purchasing
    • Negotiates blanket purchase orders.
    • Directly manage supply base, including site visits.
    • Analyze supplier performance on an ongoing basis; develop action plans for suppliers with performance and or financial issues.
    • Collaboration with Engineering team to manage supply portion of new product development, engaging the supply base in the design process to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
    Materials
    • Participate in YE financial audit.
    • Manage processes related to final product packaging, inventory control, and after sales parts fulfillment.
    • Manage inventory cycle count process.
    • Establish most effective organization of material storage.
    FTZ
    • Prepare and submit reports, audits, and other documents required by FTZ Board and CBP.
    • Maintain an inventory control and recordkeeping system that tracks the admission, status, handling, and transfer of merchandise in the FTZ.
    Competencies
    • Sound understanding of ERP concepts and best practices related to manufacturing, supply chain, and cost accounting.

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering or related field preferred.
    • 5 years’ experience in supply chain management required.
    • Certification in supply chain management (CSCP, CPIM, etc.) preferred.
    • Certification in FTZ administration or management (such as NAFTZ’s Accredited Zone Specialist program) preferred.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel required.
    • Proficiency with ERP systems in supply chain functional area preferred.
    • Epicor ERP System experience is ideal.
    • Must have valid driver’s license.
