Position: Applications Engineer (Sales & Marketing)

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Work with our Sales and Marketing team to understand market requirements, and help formulate new product concepts and applications.
• Support sales teams and interact directly with customers to define product specifications and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in new product development, product improvement efforts, and trouble shooting, as a link between DiCon and the customer.

Qualifications & Requirements

• BSEE minimum, MSEE preferred, in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines. A strong background in optics is preferred.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-moving industry environment, and be able to accomplish multiple assignments and tasks under deadline pressure.
• Must be able to work independently, and in a small group environment.
• Must have excellent people skills. Experience in working directly with customers is a strong plus.
