Overview:
As an Application Chemist, you will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests, analyzing data, and providing accurate and reliable results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in formulating water-based Industrial Coatings and possess excellent problem-solving skills. Responsibilities: - Develop formulated coatings, Perform chemical analysis and testing on samples using a variety of laboratory techniques - Develop and validate analytical methods for quality control purposes - Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment - Interpret and analyze test results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research and development projects - Document all laboratory activities, including test procedures, results, and observations - Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices - Stay updated with the latest advancements in formulated coatings techniques and technologies
Skills: - Strong knowledge of formulating Industrial Coatings, using water-based polyurethanes , acrylics and additives - Experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably in the Industrial Coatings and Polyurethane Industry - Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment and instruments - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment - Knowledge of spectroscopy , particle size analysis , and physical testing equipment.
