The Bellwood-Antis Public Library seeks a Programming & Outreach Specialist to develop, present, and coordinate library activities for patrons of all ages in the library and throughout the Bellwood-Antis community. This is a part time position with a minimum of 20 hours a week, but more hours may be needed when the library is preparing for a major event (fundraising or programming). Working evenings regularly and Saturdays occasionally is required.
Functions and Responsibilities:
● Coordinates services including developing, planning, and presenting library programming.
● Develops, coordinates, and conducts outreach activities and services, while serving as a library liaison to community agencies.
● Provides direct public service at the circulation desk, as needed.
● Works well with the public and other employees.
● Reports problems and needs to the Library Director
● Performs other duties as assigned
