Applications Programming Supervisor supervises the teams and daily activities needed for the analysis, testing, coding, and implementation of applications. Monitors operational metrics and processes and implements standard methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables. Being an Applications Programming Supervisor supports multiple development projects with scheduling, planning, and resource allocation. Conducts feedback processes, including peer reviews, code reviews, and design reviews. Additionally, Applications Programming Supervisor fosters a performance culture using individual and team coaching and mentoring to achieve excellence. May supervise vendors or off-shore resources. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Applications Programming Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Applications Programming Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.       ENDORSEMENT REQUIRED: 5-12 Secondary endorsement required with a preference in ELA or Math
      • Must be able to build relationships with students with a variety of social, behavioral, and academic needs.
      • Provide remedial and grade level instruction.
      • Must be willing to be trained in Ingenuity.
      • Must be willing to teach executive functioning skills.
      • Must be willing to be trained in Check and Connect
      • Must be willing to work with other building personnel to provide appropriate support to Program students.
      • Assist Program students with goal setting for short- and long-term success in the classroom and beyond.
      • Participate in home visits for Program students when appropriate.
      • Act as a liaison between Program students, families & school personnel for identified students.
      • Assist students with developing healthy & effective organizational/study habits to be successful in school & life.
      • Must be trained or willing to be trained in restorative practices, trauma responsive practices, and culturally responsive teaching.
      • Must implement building wide PBIS practices in support of building and district goals.
      • Must be willing to support and implement multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) for both academics and behavior.
      • Keep accurate, up-to-date records on students participating in mentoring, tutoring, & school & community activities related to the Bridges Program
      • Certified teacher required.
      • Other duties as assigned.
      • Must be able to implement Crisis Prevention Intervention strategies, including de-escalation, appropriate physical restraint procedures and escorting.
