Applications Programming Supervisor supervises the teams and daily activities needed for the analysis, testing, coding, and implementation of applications. Monitors operational metrics and processes and implements standard methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables. Being an Applications Programming Supervisor supports multiple development projects with scheduling, planning, and resource allocation. Conducts feedback processes, including peer reviews, code reviews, and design reviews. Additionally, Applications Programming Supervisor fosters a performance culture using individual and team coaching and mentoring to achieve excellence. May supervise vendors or off-shore resources. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Applications Programming Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Applications Programming Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Job Summary and Qualifications

    The Coordinator of Clinical Applications is the key facility resource that is responsible for delivering the successful implementation of advanced clinicals. They are responsible for coordinating the completion of project assessments and parameter settings and assisting with the development of education/training materials. This individual participates in the company-wide community for CPOE, and works with their division peers to ensure advanced clinical applications are well supported throughout the facility. The Coordinator of Clinical Applications is responsible for ensuring ongoing training, support and refinement of the Advanced Clinicals and Meaningful Use initiative as well as additional support for clinical applications throughout the facility. This individual participates in the company-wide community for CPOE, changes and works with their facility peers to ensure advanced clinical applications are well supported throughout the facility. Additional responsibilities will include any upgrades and applications as they are implemented.

    What qualifications you will need:

    EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED: (list required and preferred separately)

    Minimum College: Associate Degree or required, BSN or MSN preferred.

    LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: (list required and preferred separately)

    • Current RN licensure in Texas or compact state required
    • Current BLS certification

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED: (list required and preferred separately)

    Minimum of three years clinical experience, three-five years of management experience preferred.

    SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

    • Mature understanding of Meditech, Excell, PowerPoint, etc.
    • Demonstrated ability to establish and build strong relationships across a broad range of personality types
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clinical and information technology personnel verbally and in writing
    • Demonstrated customer orientation
    • Excellent leadership and teaching abilities
    • Demonstrated advanced computer skills
    • An understanding, enthusiasm and commitment to the goals of the project
    • Leadership skills to direct others and maintain a common vision for project objectives. Must be a motivator
    • The ability to communicate with staff at all levels of the practice, as well as with vendors and other outside agents. Must have an interdisciplinary focus
    • Effective organizational skills
    • Good problem solving and analytical skills
    • Existing knowledge of the facility’s clinical/operational processes, challenges and Meditech environment

    • The ability to delegate tasks and enlist the cooperation and/or assistance of team members and others
