Conducts feedback processes, including peer reviews, code reviews, and design reviews. Additionally, Applications Programming Supervisor fosters a performance culture using individual and team coaching and mentoring to achieve excellence. May supervise vendors or off-shore resources. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Applications Programming Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Our Utility Systems Analyst (Programming) performs a wide variety of process analysis, configuring, integration development, testing, scripting, and operational support for the City’s Water and Power department. This is a technical position requiring the ability to integrate and automate complex systems and processes for the organization. This position will project manage multiple information processes and will require consultation with management and other stakeholders to determine system needs and business goals. The Utility Systems Analyst also supports automation between many business systems throughout Water & Power and assists with system configuration, implementation, upgrades, user training, and security.
The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,758 annually, with a hiring range of $90,000 to $96,400 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
