Applications Programming Supervisor supervises the teams and daily activities needed for the analysis, testing, coding, and implementation of applications. Monitors operational metrics and processes and implements standard methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables. Being an Applications Programming Supervisor supports multiple development projects with scheduling, planning, and resource allocation. Conducts feedback processes, including peer reviews, code reviews, and design reviews. Additionally, Applications Programming Supervisor fosters a performance culture using individual and team coaching and mentoring to achieve excellence. May supervise vendors or off-shore resources. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Applications Programming Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Applications Programming Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Coordinate Large Group Programming Volunteers
    • Manage schedule for large group volunteers including storytellers, worship leaders, techs and key holders and security leaders.
    • Communicate weekly with large group volunteers to make sure they have curriculum, songs and all information and resources needed for the weekend.  
    • Assist with recruiting and scheduling subs as needed.  Assist with recruiting new large group volunteers as opportunities become available.
    • Provide appropriate training to all large group volunteers, including all safety and emergency procedures.
    • Encourage and appreciate large group leaders throughout the year.


    Prepare Large Group Rooms For Sundays
    • Walk through environments to ensure they are picked up and ready for Sundays.
    • Load ProPresenter monthly with new curriculum.
    • Check that all equipment is functioning properly and let appropriate staff know if anything needs to be addressed.


    Serve on Lexington Campus Children’s Team
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Lexington Children’s Team and campus team members from other departments. 
    • Work with Lexington Children’s Pastor and Children’s Team on overall campus issues and strategy.
    • Work with the Lexington Children’s Pastor to maintain campus-wide alignment on vision, programming and procedures.  
    • Support the Children’s teams on other campuses as needed.
    • Support the Lexington Campus Team by building relationships across departments, attending campus meetings, serving at campus-wide events and participating in the life of the church.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.
