Applications Programming Supervisor supervises the teams and daily activities needed for the analysis, testing, coding, and implementation of applications. Monitors operational metrics and processes and implements standard methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables. Being an Applications Programming Supervisor supports multiple development projects with scheduling, planning, and resource allocation. Conducts feedback processes, including peer reviews, code reviews, and design reviews. Additionally, Applications Programming Supervisor fosters a performance culture using individual and team coaching and mentoring to achieve excellence. May supervise vendors or off-shore resources. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Applications Programming Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Applications Programming Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     AVAILABLE SHIFTS
    Full Time: Sunday-Thursday: 10AM-6PM
     
    PAY & BENEFITS:

    Rates start at $17.50 per hour

    WHAT OUR PROGRAMMING ASSISTANTS DO:
    • Form meaningful relationships with residents and families;
    • Help implement and coordinate the balanced daily therapeutic programming schedule for 7 days per week;
    • Support with coordination of entertainment including guest lecturers, musicians, and fitness instructors;
    • Participate in scheduled outings, ensuring safety of residents on transportation and off-site
    • Assist with support group and educational sessions for families and staff
    • Support with developing monthly newsletter, taking photos, and updating social media
    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Experience: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Education, Social Work, or related field preferred. Must have 1 years experience working with elderly and/or Alzheimer's populations.
    • Physical requirements: Standing, sitting, bending, and transferring residents (with and without assistance)
    • Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
    • Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.
