Position Summary
The Director of System Wide Programming Strategy will play a significant role in supporting the design, oversight and implementation of the district’s system-wide, specialized programming. This includes initiatives that will result in districtwide improvements in areas that can be more efficiently and effectively addressed at the system level rather than at the school level. This position will research and design the infrastructure of innovative centralized programming, assist with the management of the districts Systemwide Needs Program and develop systems to track and monitor program outcomes. Responsibilities include action research, program monitoring and evaluation, data analysis, action research, strategy development, and collaboration with partner organizations and internal district staff who play a support role in the execution of systemwide programming (e.g., procurement, diverse learner support, etc.). This position requires an innovative and entrepreneurial thinker with expertise in strategic thinking, program management, action research, data analysis and the ability to interact professionally and courteously with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., school leaders, district staff, potential partners, etc.). Lastly, this role serves an important role in supporting the School Support and Improvement Division’s execution of priorities within the district’s strategic plan.

Performance Evaluation
The employee will be evaluated based on the above position using either two methods: via COMPASS or a NOLA-PS evaluating instrument. If the employee holds an Educational Leadership certification, he/she will be evaluated via COMPASS to ensure renewal of certification.
