Applications Programming Supervisor supervises the teams and daily activities needed for the analysis, testing, coding, and implementation of applications. Monitors operational metrics and processes and implements standard methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables. Being an Applications Programming Supervisor supports multiple development projects with scheduling, planning, and resource allocation. Conducts feedback processes, including peer reviews, code reviews, and design reviews. The Specialist, Programming and Outreach works in partnership with and reports to the Director of the Creighton Intercultural Center. The Specialist, Programming and Outreach is integral to the development and implementation of cultural programming for undergraduate, graduate/professional students, as well as employees of Creighton University.
This position plays a central role for enhancing the university experience for students, faculty and staff in the Creighton Intercultural Center as well as for the university itself. The role is responsible for identifying, collaborating, developing, organizing, and participating in the implementation of programming designed to create a more inclusive institution that aligns with the university’s and division’s stated vision and mission. A primary expectation is the collaborative development, implementation, and coordination of equity, diversity, and inclusion programming and outreach to Creighton students and employees, as well as the Omaha community.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Higher Education, Social Work, Education, Student Personnel Administration, Psychology, Human Resources, or related field required.
• 2 years equity, diversity, and inclusion programming experience required. Work experience in collegiate settings preferred.
