Being an Applications Support Technician assists in the formulation of procedures and best practices for users of applications. Typically requires an associate degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Applications Support Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Applications Support Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Unit/Position Summary
Under limited supervision, the Applications Training & Support Specialist 3 (ATSS3) is responsible for oversight of Health Information Technology education development and delivery to clinical and business end-users. The ATSS3 partners with area leaders and Informaticists to analyze and evaluate existing system functionality to best support clinical and business end users in safe and efficient utilization of the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
