Applications Systems Analyst analyzes, designs, and troubleshoots an organization's information technology systems and processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness. Uses defined policies and procedures to evaluate and design new IT systems or enhance existing systems to integrate with current and future needs. Being an Applications Systems Analyst tests and evaluates the compatibility and integration of new systems with existing infrastructure, networks, and applications. Designs models and utilizes analysis and solution development methods, including process maps, flow charts, and diagrams. Additionally, Applications Systems Analyst supports management with project planning, risk assessment, and project tracking to deliver timely IT solutions within budget. May create coding and logic specifications for developers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Applications Systems Analyst work is closely managed. What We’re Looking For
The Systems Analyst role works within the IT Student Systems group to support the mission of the University by providing complex system support that includes maintenance, configuration, troubleshooting and data support as it relates to University systems that maintain student data. This position will report to the Assistant Director of Student Systems and will serve as a key partner to vendors, functional/operational staff that support the Graduate and Graduate Professional Education instances of Slate to manage student data.
A Bachelor's Degree, two years of relevant experience and an active Christian faith are required. Up to five years of relevant experience is preferred.
Work will be performed in an approved remote / hybrid work environment that may include travel to Waco for on-campus/in-person activities/meetings as required.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do
The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $65,000 - $67,500. The full salary range for this position classification is $51,569.56 - $85,089.77.
This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certification, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs
