Your Daily Life:
As a key team member, your role as an Applications Expert at Eddyfi will involve designing and developing ultrasound transducers and wedges for non- destructive applications. You'll work closely with customers to provide tailored solutions and collaborate with internal teams to address technical challenges, ensuring an optimal customer experience. Your responsibilities also include on-site technical assistance, data analysis, and detailed reporting. Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills are essential, as you actively contribute to product development, support sales presentations, and manage project-related requirements and timelines in accordance with quality processes.
In This Role, You Will:
- Design and develop ultrasound transducer and wedges for non-destructive applications;
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions tailored to their specific requirements;
- Collaborate with internal teams to tackle complex technical issues and ensure an optimal customer experience;
- Provide on-site technical assistance, including troubleshooting and resolving equipment and application-related issues;
- Analyze non-destructive inspection data and produce detailed reports presenting results, findings, and appropriate recommendations;
- Actively contribute to the development of new product features and improvements by offering feedback and suggestions based on customer feedback and your technical expertise;
- Support the sales team during client meetings to present products and applications. Provide expert user judgment and analysis during various project stages;
- Manage costs, delivery timelines, and technical requirements related to project delivery in accordance with quality system processes and procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
- You have Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering or a related field; You have two to four years of relevant experience;
- You have knowledge of the NDT market (a plus);
- You have strong Mechanical design skills (acoustical a plus);
- You are a problem-solver and find win-win solutions in a customer service context;
- You demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, with a knack for effective communication and teamwork;
- You have outstanding communication skills to interact with clients, train staff, and collaborate with internal teams; You write clear and concise technical reports;
- You have a strong aptitude for working under tight deadlines and managing priorities;
- You are self-motivated, with keen attention to detail, and are committed to delivering high-quality work; You are available for frequent national and international travel as required by project needs.
