Key job responsibilities
Global Robotics Delivery is seeking an innovative, high-energy and customer-obsessed Sr System Development Engineer to to design and develop controls for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Lifecycle Management systems (PLM).
The System Development Engineer will design, develop, integrate, troubleshoot, and optimize various automation solutions, while acting as a engineering leader for our internal/external engineering partner teams.
- Design, simplify and continuously improve enterprise systems such as ERP, PLM platform architecture.
- Manage deployment of applicable security patches to the ERP and PLM platforms.
- Identify and implement system optimizations.
- Debug issues, develop tools and best practices for system monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Experience in 24X7 Productions support operations
- Knowledge and skills in holistic Performance Tuning/Optimization across the Oracle Technology stack (Database, Web Logic Server, ORDS).
- Hand on experience performing Oracle DB & eBusiness Suite (EBS) cloning, Patching, Upgrades, Backup & Restore of Database and Applications
- Ability to promptly assess and address security vulnerabilities, issues protecting ERP applications, database, infrastructure and technology stack.

- Experience with distributed systems at scale
- Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
- Experience automating and configuring systems using the Desired State Configuration (DSC) in a large enterprise environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
