Appraiser (Commercial Real Estate) conducts commercial real estate appraisals and property ratings to establish the market value generally used for investment guidance, lending, insurance, or other purposes. Follows standard processes for conducting and documenting on-site property inspections. Being an Appraiser (Commercial Real Estate) performs data collection and research on building permits, prior assessments, and relevant market and economic conditions that impact property value. Reviews building plans and specifications and investigates the quality of the construction, the overall condition of the property, and the surrounding location. Additionally, Appraiser (Commercial Real Estate) uses generally accepted appraisal practice concepts and practices to perform data analysis, develop valuation estimates, and write comprehensive reports and exhibits. Utilizes appraisal software tools and databases. Ensures that reports comply with required policies, formats, and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. May require the Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) or similar designation. Requires a State Appraiser License. Typically reports to a manager. The Appraiser (Commercial Real Estate) work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters.     Overview:
    Blaze Real Estate, a leader in property management throughout the Texas Panhandle, is seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Accounts Payable Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of financial concepts, experience with advanced accounting software, and the ability to manage front desk responsibilities effectively.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
    • Assist with month-end closing procedures and maintain accurate, organized financial records.
    • Manage front desk duties, including greeting visitors, answering phones, and handling inquiries with professionalism.
    • Collaborate with the accounting and management teams to support various accounting projects and front office tasks.
    • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

    Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    • Proficiency in accounting software such as Workday, QuickBooks, or similar platforms, with a willingness to learn new software as needed.
    • Familiarity with Human Resources processes and a basic understanding of financial concepts and general ledger accounting.
    • Previous experience in public accounting, real estate, or a related field is a plus.
    • Ability to handle Accounts Receivable tasks and support payroll processes when needed.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
    • At least 2 years of experience in an accounts payable role.
    • Experience in customer service or front desk management is highly desirable.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
