Appraiser (Residential Real Estate) conducts residential real estate appraisals to establish the market value generally used for lending, insurance, or other purposes. Follows standard processes for conducting on-site property inspections, data collection, and research relevant market conditions required to perform valuations. Being an Appraiser (Residential Real Estate) investigates the quality of the construction, the overall condition of the property, and the surrounding location. Uses generally accepted appraisal practice concepts and practices to perform data analysis, develop valuation estimates, and write comprehensive reports and exhibits. Additionally, Appraiser (Residential Real Estate) utilizes appraisal software tools and databases. Ensures that reports comply with required policies, formats, and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. May require the Member of the Appraisal Institute (SRA) or similar designation. Requires a State Appraiser License. Typically reports to a manager. The Appraiser (Residential Real Estate) occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.   • Searching for a full time Real Estate Assistant, working for a high producing residential real estate Broker in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.     Applicants must be able to work 40 hours/week year-round from 9AM-5PM and have reliable transportation. Real Estate license or prior experience is highly preferred, but not necessary.

    Compensation:

    • $25.00 - $26.50 per hour Bonus after waiting period

    Responsibilities:

    • Organizing all electronic and paper files needed for the daily operations of a real estate transaction.
    • Coordinating with clients, agents, and attorneys to ensure clear communication and dissemination of documents, deadlines, and other info to keep transactions running smoothly.
    • Maintaining and categorizing contacts in a customer relationship management system to facilitate maximum engagement of clients and prospects.
    • Preparing marketing presentations and other materials for listing appointments, and scheduling/preparing showings for buyer clients.
    • Assisting in the staging/preparation of homes to come on the market.
    • Assisting in the management of the broker’s online presence via testimonials and social media.
    • Occasionally running personal errands as needed to facilitate broker’s ability to attend to real estate obligations.

    Requirements:

    • High school or equivalent education and/or 3 years of relevant experience
    • Reliable transportation
    • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word (2 years of experience preferred)
    • Tech savvy, with a basic understanding of the Windows operating system
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Ability to multitask and adapt to frequent shifts in direction, prioritizing accordingly

    Highly Valued Skills/Experience:

    • Real estate license and/or willingness to obtain
    • Prior experience in the real estate industry
    • Experience with customer relationship management systems or general database maintenance
    • Prior experience with any of the following tools:
    • o DocuSign Rooms
    • o MoxiWorks Suite
    • o MLSPin
    • o Microsoft SharePoint/OneDrive
    • o Meta Business Suite (a.k.a., Creator Studio)
    • o Zillow Premier Agent
