Job Description:
Goldberg Companies Inc., is a prominent and diversified real estate development and management firm that is committed to offering exceptional places to live and work. We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst who will define reporting and analysis requirements and work to design, develop and implement solutions to satisfy them. The position will collaborate with both internal and external business partners to oversee system maintenance including testing and troubleshooting, and provide ongoing training and user support.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS *Manages projects to develop and enhance functionality of the ERP and integrations with related information management platforms *Develops, implements, and supports automated solutions for financial and operational processes and projects *Completes estimates and work plans as appropriate for design, development, implementation and roll-out tasks *Plans and implements new software solutions and enhancements *Develops, refines, publishes, and distributes reports to various stakeholders *Identifies opportunities for process and system improvements and implements solutions that will increase efficiencies and customer satisfaction *Partners with both internal and external resources to implement new releases of current software and new applications and software solutions *Works with IT vendors and partners to design, document and maintain system processes *Develops training materials and provides ongoing user training and support *Conducts quality assurance and data validation testing around new and existing reports and systems *Identifies common sources of technical issues or questions and communicates recommendations regarding potential changes *Coordinates and executes testing from test scenario development to defect tracking *Provides ad hoc information and analysis *Special projects as assigned, often of a confidential, complex and/or urgent nature *Other responsibilities as assigned
Required Experience:
REQUIRED SKILLS *Demonstrated project management expertise. *Ability to elicit, document, and prioritize requirements (Business requirements, essential process documentation, data models, roles/personas, capabilities, functional requirements, non-functional requirements) *Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions *Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing *Solid experience in writing SQL queries *Basic knowledge in generating process documentation *Excellent written and verbal communication skills *Effective interpersonal skills *Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word *Detail oriented *Works with minimal supervision *Ability to prioritize and handle multiple duties simultaneously
PREFERRED SKILLS *Experience with MRI (or similar property management software)
EDUCATION *Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or business-related field; or equivalent work experience
EXPERIENCE *4 years in Business/ Systems Analysis or project management
