Appraiser (Residential Real Estate) conducts residential real estate appraisals to establish the market value generally used for lending, insurance, or other purposes. Follows standard processes for conducting on-site property inspections, data collection, and research relevant market conditions required to perform valuations. Being an Appraiser (Residential Real Estate) investigates the quality of the construction, the overall condition of the property, and the surrounding location. Uses generally accepted appraisal practice concepts and practices to perform data analysis, develop valuation estimates, and write comprehensive reports and exhibits. Additionally, Appraiser (Residential Real Estate) utilizes appraisal software tools and databases. Ensures that reports comply with required policies, formats, and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. May require the Member of the Appraisal Institute (SRA) or similar designation. Requires a State Appraiser License. Typically reports to a manager. The Appraiser (Residential Real Estate) occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. We are a full-service residential real estate firm that works with local and out-of-state buyers, property management, and mortgage and trust deed investments.
In this position, you will be supporting Property Management by leasing vacant listings as well as being a Realtor working with buyers and sellers on their homes and investment property transactions. You will need to manage a wide array of clients and prospects from first-time buyers to tenants and seasoned investors. The main objective of this position is to increase company real estate sales and lease all vacant property in 30 days or less.
50% of your day will be on the phones and 50% of your day will be at properties. You must be comfortable with interpersonal communication via telephone, email interaction, and face-to-face.
