Architect is responsible for performing design computations, compiling data, and completing rudimentary architectural assignments. Works from the designs of others to prepare sketches, preliminary drawings, and schematic designs. Being an Architect prepares project estimates and completes architectural plans/renderings following specific instructions. Prepares reports and specifications as requested. Additionally, Architect may participate in an architectural internship or professional development program. May be working towards obtaining architecture license. Requires a bachelor's degree in architecture. Typically reports to a manager. The Architect work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Qualified candidates will have similar experience to the following:
- Experience delivering enterprise class web applications, with experience in the following (or similar) technologies:
- C#,
- .NET
- SQL
- Blazor
- Azure, AWS, GCP or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- JavaScript (Angular, React, Node, etc)
- Experience with performance analysis and optimization of web services and software
- Advanced understanding of object-oriented design and SOLID development principles
- Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (table design, complex query creation, best practices)
- Understanding of best practices and methods to continuously integrate and deploy applications, architect micro-service solutions, and develop APIs for internal and external use
- Experience mentoring others and/or leading a significant change within a team
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
