Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 30 branches throughout the United States. Our primary business is non-structural architectural grade building products sold principally to customers who create and produceend-products for the commercial, industrial, retail, residential and institutional markets. Position Summary:

Warehouse laborer, part-time. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager or Branch Manager and is responsible for general warehouse duties of receiving, unloading, and storing material delivered to a company branch.

• Able to successfully pass a Valid OSHA approved forklift certification
• Lumber yard experience a plus
• Proficient and able to work safely with hand and power tools
• Must be highly quality-minded in all job functions

What You Will Do:

• Load and unload cabinets, countertops and various other building materials by hand
• Maintain warehouse in a clean, orderly and safe manner
• Check incoming product to verify material against receiving documents, noting and reporting any discrepancies or damage
• Locate and stage material for delivery by company truck or for pickup by customers
• Periodically examine stored material and report any deterioration or damage
• Assist in taking inventory as required on a regular basis
• Work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies

Essential Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift extremely heavy awkward products repeatedly to store, removes from storage for fabrication, or load onto a truck 50-100 lbs with a helper
• Must be able to maintain a high level of frequency and intensity in other physical activities such as reaching, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling and crouching
• Must have good visual acuity, depth perception, color vision, and peripheral vision
• The employee will be required to work both inside and outside in extremes of cold, heat and humidity, depending on the season and location

This role is a Safety Sensitive position and subject to periodic screenings

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 27 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• No weekends
