Architectural Drafter jobs in Anaheim, CA

National utility contractor specializing in Fire Risk Mitigation, Service Planning, field inspections, deteriorated poles, base mapping, electric vehicle charging station design, plot layout and design, Site Planning, and Permitting is seeking Drafter to join their team. The primary focus of the Drafter will be to support Southern California Edison (SCE) distribution infrastructure projects.

Description:

• Complete deliverables in timely manner while maintaining quality

• They will be performing various drafts for utility poles and reconductors

• They will not be doing the fielding themselves, unless they are considered for a planner role, but will be expected to be in the office every day.

• Able to understand scope of work

• Having good communication with planners & engineers

• Create Base maps for different departments using specific data provided

• Willingness to take initiative to resolve issues

• Ability to QC your own work prior to lead examination

• Familiarized with multiple project standards, data management, analysis, & expectations

• Strong attention to details while maintaining consistent work flow

Skills & Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in civil, underground or electrical utility drafting
• Strong AutoCAD experience
• AUD experience a Plus, but not required

Pay Rate: $28-$35 per hour (Negotiable based upon Experience)
