Job Description

Wall Panel Systems is currently looking for a REVIT Shop Drawing Drafter and BIM Modeler. The ideal candidate will have strong Revit knowledge, as well as be proficient in reading blueprints (architectural). These shop drawings would most closely relate to millwork type drawings used for installation proposes.

Job Duties:

· Familiarity with typical Revit standards.

· Basic knowledge of general manufacturing procedures.

· Proficiency in reading blueprints and creating material takeoffs.

· Review architectural drawings for completeness and accuracy

· Ability to create a complete shop drawing set in Revit from design drawings, written, and verbal specifications, for approvals and installation.

· Ability to follow company template in Revit project set up to be uniform and consistent.

· Modify and maintain all revisions of project drawings in formatted files.

· Provide timely technical assistance and potential solutions to the team.

· Participate in project meetings and conference calls as required.

· Ability to prepare visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts.

· Complete project responsibilities within scope and on schedule.

· Handle complex designing and drafting assignments under minimal supervision.

· Teamwork and strong problem solving abilities.

· Strong organization, self-management and people skills.

· Deadline-Oriented, Self-Motivated, Design Skills.

Qualifications

· Minimum 2-3 years Revit drafting experience for shop drawings, preferably in an architectural or millwork setting.

· Excellent analytical and mathematical skills

· Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.

· Millwork/cabinetry background preferred (not a requirement)

· Photoshop, Illustrator, and In-design is a plus (not a requirement)

· Solid Works is a plus (not a requirement)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
