Architectural Drafter jobs in Saint Louis, MO

We are seeking a full-time, skilled Drafter to join our team. You will be responsible for creating drawings and plans based on specifications from customers. Your attention to detail and proficiency in drafting software will be crucial in ensuring accurate drawings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with drafting and some mechanical or construction experience to contribute to a local Company. Wage offer will be commensurate with both skill level and experience.

Job Overview:

• Create drawings using AutoCAD, and/or Autodesk Inventor
• Collaborate with Company people and Customers to understand project requirements and specifications
• Develop 2D or 3D models of components and containers.
• Prepare drawings, parts list, cut sheets and manufacturing purposes.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers or customers
• Maintain documentation of all drawings and revisions

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Drafter
• Proficient with AutoCAD or Inventor. Inventor preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding tube and sheet steel.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with customers, engineers, and other stakeholders

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
