Architectural Drafter jobs in Springfield, OR

Residential construction company is looking for a full-time Architectural Drafter to join our team. Working knowledge and understanding of residential construction and architectural design is required. Proficiency with AutoCAD and SketchUp is required. Bluebeam, Revit and Adobe Creative Cloud suite experience are a plus. Some of the tasks and responsibilities expected are:

● Produce and coordinate bid and permit drawings. Work closely with the Director of Design to develop construction documents while maintaining brand excellence.

● Coordinate with Project Team, Structural and Civil engineers, Landscape designer, floor joist and roof truss manufacturers, and solar designer as applicable by project.

● Interface with Sales Team to create marketing materials and guide clients through the permit process.

● Experience working with local community development jurisdictions and an ability to navigate different zoning codes, building codes, and neighborhood ARC guidelines.

● Produce accurate foundation and framing plans, and architectural and structural details.

● Calculate dimensions, weight limitations and requirements in structural and building materials.

● Confirm that final construction documents comply with code regulations and quality standards.
