Job Title: Project Architect / Project Manager / Senior Project Manager

We are excited to announce an excellent opportunity to join an award-winning multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, environmental, and land surveying consulting firm. We are seeking an experienced candidate to join the Architectural group as a Project Architect / Project Manager / Senior Project Manager.

As an integral member of the Architectural team, the candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, developing, coordinating, directing, and managing large and small design projects for a variety of public and private clients. The candidate will prepare related reports and studies for projects, develop and evaluate plans and criteria for projects, and plan and coordinate with in-house engineers, architects, designers, surveyors, and sub-consultants. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have the ability to contribute to the marketing of the firm and the development of new business by initiating and maintaining contacts with current clients and key individuals of other organizations and companies.

Qualifications:

• 8 years working in Architecture with demonstrated career growth that includes 2 years of project management.
• Proficient technical writing and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Lab/Medical Sciences experience preferred OR Aviation project experience a plus.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam.
• Capable of working independently and providing supervision to others.
• B.S. or Master of Architecture or similar degree.

• NYS Professional Architectural license is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Architectural design for buildings.
• Project coordination & client communications.
• Mentoring/coaching.
• Business development.
• QAQC document review.

General Requirements:

• Experience in construction document preparation.
• Knowledge of building materials, specifications, and construction techniques.
• Sufficient knowledge of engineering disciplines to coordinate with their work.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Location:

• Buffalo/Niagara Region

Compensation:

• $80k to $110k per year
