Riverside Architectural Millwork is a small architectural millwork provider in Cincinnati, OH. We provide high quality custom millwork products to both the commercial and high end residential markets. We are customer-centric, professional, supportive and our goal is to find an additional long-term team member to join our staff of experienced woodoworking professionals.

Architectural Millwork Finisher

The architectural millwork finisher is responsible for all sanding and prep work for all parts and products that will receive finish and applying uniform stains, paints, and clearcoats. ​The focus of this job is on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards and guidelines. This requires the development of a valued technical expert who can deliver quality work on a consistent basis.

Job Duties & Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

• Competently prepares parts or products by hand to receive finish

• Custom stain color matching

• Applies uniform coats of finish

• Requires minimal supervision

• Work productivity is excellent

• Work quality exceeds expectations

• Individual is reliable and without attendance issues

• Keeps work area organized and clean and free of debris

• Attention to detail is required

Products to include but not limited to:

• Mouldings (Running Trim)

• Custom Veneered Paneling

• Solid Wood Pieces

• Custom Products (Desks/Benches/Planters/Etc.)

• Custom Cabinetry

Education

• High School diploma, GED, or higher is required

• Relevant experience can be considered as an equivalent to a degreeExperience

• 5 or more years’ experience as a finisher within the woodworking, industry is preferred

• Experinece with waterbased finishes is a plus.

Computer Requirements

• Time tracking / Material requisition

• Innergy Software Experience is a plusLanguage and Mathematical Skills

• Ability to effectively present information, questions, or discrepancies to Management for resolution

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; mentally, hand-and-paper, and calculator

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
