Job Summary:

We are seeking enthusiatic and motivated Architectural drafting assistant to join our team. As an Architectural assitant designer you will be responsible for setting up and helping staff in drafting department to ensure customer and builder goals in single family residential homes. This includes coordinating with clients and design staff to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and CAD software.

Responsibilities:

-Plotting plans for architectual department

-Truss and flooring layout distribution

-Applications for building permits, zoning permits, etc.

-Save emailed photos to hard drive

-Misc paperwork filing

-Lot layouts with proposed home placed

-Preliminary plans for sales

-Plan revisions for architectual department

-Reversing plans

Assistant to department staff.

- Collaborate with department staff and/or clients needs to understand project requirements and objectives

- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of construction

- Proficiency in CAD software for drafting and design (AutoCAD)

-Strong communication skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

- Knowledge of interior design principles is a plus
