Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Architectural Designer/Drafter to join our team. As a Designer/Drafter, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans using various software programs. This role requires proficiency in building codes, drafting techniques and knowledge of design principles. If you have a passion for design and attention to detail, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Create accurate and detailed technical drawings based on specifications provided by clients, engineers, or architects

- Collaborate with design teams to develop and modify designs

- Use software programs such as Chief Architect & AutoCAD to create 2D and 3D models

- Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards and jurisdiction regulations

- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project managers or clients

- Assist in the preparation of project documentation

- Maintain organized records of all drawings and related documentation

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Drafter or similar role

- Proficiency in Chief Architect, AutoCAD, and other drafting software

- Strong knowledge of building codes, drafting techniques, and design principles

- Familiarity with blueprints, technical drawings, and construction documents

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

- Strong communication skills to effectively convey design ideas and concepts

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in residential design or interior design

- Knowledge of energy design principles

- Familiarity Excel/PDf/Word softwares

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
