Bessolo Design Group, Inc., an Architectural/Engineering/Interior Design firm based in St. Petersburg,
FL, is seeking an experienced Architectural Production Manager to be responsible for planning,
coordinating, scheduling, quality control, and oversight of the design development, construction
drawing production, and delivery of Architectural and Interior Design projects within the firm. The
Architectural Production Manager will provide production staff leadership and management to
enhance the internal organization process and infrastructure and to ensure the staff's adherence to the
firm's production policy, procedures, schedules, and commitments. Candidate must have a minimum
of 15 years of experience in managing the production and drawing operations in all phases within the
Architectural/Engineering field.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Monitors workload projections and provide recommendations for staffing
• Ensures accurate schedule information, while monitoring actual progress
• Monitors the production processes and adjusts staffing as needed

o Monitors production standards by the company and by the client
o Monitors production policies and procedures

• Monitors the review of weekly progress sets and completed phase drawings for QA/QC
• Assists in resolving and/or identifying A/E production coordination issues
• Assists in the performance reviews of production staff, including promotions
• Development and monitoring of staff development plans, including proper training
• Assist with new production staff hiring, onboarding, and training
• Reports directly to the Preside and Vice President with daily updates on the progress of all deliverables
• Responsible for oversight and delivery of all project deliverables both internal review and external to clients,

municipalities, consultants, and contractors

Experience:

• Licensed architect for the State of Florida or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 10-15 years of senior management experience in an A/E firm
• Experience with Multifamily, Healthcare, and Senior Living projects
• Demonstrated knowledge of architectural, interior design, and engineering production process
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in managing multiple design projects
  

Software Knowledge Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project)
• Proficiency in REVIT and CAD is a plus

• Ability to be honest, focused, organized, flexible and detail-oriented
• Strong leadership skills
  

Education Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or comparable experience
