Art Director Assistant jobs in Altoona, PA

Professional fireworks display company now hiring crew members for our summer 2024 team. Some positions could transition to year-round full-time employment for those interested.

As part of our summer team, you will:

• Prepare fireworks product for displays
• Assist order fulfillment staff
• Pull products from storage areas to staging areas for customer pickup, delivery, shipping, and display production
• Pull, process, and organize fireworks for transport to display sites
• Perform heavy lifting and moving of fireworks products
• Process product using tools, manual labor, and equipment provided in accordance with company product safety standards and procedures
• Load boxes, equipment, and supplies into display trucks
• Unload, sort, clean, and return equipment and supplies to proper storage after displays are finished
• Help maintain grounds by assisting with lawn mowing, weed whacking, tree trimming, and road maintenance

Expect full-time hours from now until July 15th and part-time hours from July 16th until late-August. Extended work days may be required between June 28th and July 6th.

Job candidates must be:

• At least 18 years old
• Motivated and Team Oriented
• Able to pass a criminal background check
• Committed to safety and willing to follow standard safety procedures for handling equipment and fireworks product
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Attentive to detail
• Able to work outdoors or in structures open to the outdoors during the summer months
