As Art Director you will be responsible for leading a team of digital performance creatives & driving efficient user growth. You will partner closely with your paid media counterpart & drive the conceptualization, development, and execution of digital ads for channels like paid social, display, and paid search. As a leader within the marketing team, you will need to have both the creative and business acumen.

What will you do?

• Develop a deep understanding of consumer target’s mindsets, attitudes, & behaviors to inform strong creative development.
  
• Work alongside Creative Director of Copy to develop a digital ad voice that engages users based on their unique channels.
• Own our brand design and establish design systems to ensure consistency of brand usage across internal and external teams.
• Partner with the internal creative, media, product marketing, and consumer insights department to develop inspiring, strategic, & effective communications briefs.
• Evaluate advertising concepts & shepherd the creative process all the way to execution.
• Understand media channel objectives and goals to ensure optimal ad performance.
• Develop, and mentor a design team charged with acquiring and retaining players across touchpoints through exceptional design execution across products, services, and regions.

Skills and Experience:

• 8 years of successful experience as a creative leader, with at least 5 years leading an in-house creative studio with a high degree of operational rigor.
• Strong portfolio of breakthrough creative leading to brand and performance outcomes that demonstrates copywriting and design excellence with a high bar of creativity to win hearts and minds of consumers.
• Significant experience in real money gaming industry with a focus on digital products. Additional sports marketing or lifestyle experience preferred whether leading creative efforts for a brand, media entity, lifestyle brand, or specific league/team.
• Experience managing a high volume of creative and campaign types in parallel with emphasis on performance marketing - paid user acquisition, CRM, web conversion optimization, and organic social.
• Exceptionally collaborative. Must have an ability to work cross-functionally with leadership, brand, creatives, product marketers, content marketers, and campaign managers of all levels.
• Passion for sports and/or interactive gaming is a plus.
