We have an immediate opening for an Assistant Director position. The responsibilities include:

• 1. Manage the daily operational activities of the Learning Center.
• 2. Provide exceptional customer service.
• 3. Hire, train, and manage the teaching team.
• 4. Work closely with students by administering evaluations and monitoring educational programs.
• 5. Participate in community and school-based outreach efforts.
• 6. Provide periodic progress communications to students, parents, and school officials.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Bachelor's Degree Required
• Experience in the education field (teaching experience and/or a certificate a plus)
• Exceptional customer service
• Excellent communication, listening, organization, and leadership skills
• Passion for helping school-aged children
• Profession demeanor
• Evening and weekend availability
• Ability to lead a team of part-time co-workers
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with parents and students while promoting the After School America mission, "To Give Every Student the Best Education Possible"
