Art Director Assistant assists the Art Director with all phases of design projects to ensure successful project completion. Monitors work through all stages of pre-production and production and facilitates solutions to any issues that may arise. Being an Art Director Assistant reviews the work of videographers, photographers, designers, and graphic artists. Requires knowledge of typography, layout, color, and visual communication. Additionally, Art Director Assistant requires a bachelor's degree of art or design. Typically reports to Art Director. The Art Director Assistant gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. In a learning capacity, this position will provide IT support and assistance on work efforts for Agency Services Director’s Office. This position will assist in providing the basic duties including but not limited to assisting with design, implementation, and support of technical solutions. Good communication skills in both written and verbal form are essential along with the ability to work on multiple tasks at one time.
