Your Role...

Support the Analyst with all aspects of developing and maintaining the company’s inventory levels. This is an hourly position. The Purchasing Inventory Analyst Assistant will work 40 to 45 hours per week with overtime as required.  

Responsibilities:

• Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly company sales and inventory reports (out of stock, open orders, etc.)
• Streamline processes or create new reporting through Alteryx Workflows
• Analyze and maintain Min Max settings for Retail stores
• Coordinate and create buyout files for Retail due to vendor promotions
• Provide ad hoc data extraction for Inventory Analysts 
• Assist with system checks and clean ups as needed from either the Demand Planner or Systems teams
• Knowledge of various systems to obtain data needed: CW, MMS, COGNOS, Data Warehouse, Alteryx
• Maintain documented procedures on existing and new processes
• Other projects as assigned by Purchasing-Analysis Manager or Director of Purchasing

Education:

• College education preferred, with emphasis in Math and Analytical skills 

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Windows, Excel, and Word
• Strong communication skills to work with Retail stores and internal departments
• Flexibility in schedule to meet deadlines
• Independent, Detail oriented, and Analytical/Investigative
• Familiarity with Alteryx, SQL, and/or RStudio would be a plus, but not required
