Art Director Assistant assists the Art Director with all phases of design projects to ensure successful project completion. Monitors work through all stages of pre-production and production and facilitates solutions to any issues that may arise. Being an Art Director Assistant reviews the work of videographers, photographers, designers, and graphic artists. Requires knowledge of typography, layout, color, and visual communication. Additionally, Art Director Assistant requires a bachelor's degree of art or design. Typically reports to Art Director. The Art Director Assistant gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Attention to detail.
Answering phone calls, sending e-mails and faxes.
Proper handling of office phone calls and correspondence and follow through as appropriate.
Registration and scheduling of new clients.
Billing activities.
Collaboration with office manager.
Review of legal documents as needed.
Drafting and e-filing of legal documents.
Other duties as needed.
NOTE: This is a virtual part-time position; pay is based on work production.
