Art Director Assistant assists the Art Director with all phases of design projects to ensure successful project completion. Monitors work through all stages of pre-production and production and facilitates solutions to any issues that may arise. Being an Art Director Assistant reviews the work of videographers, photographers, designers, and graphic artists. Requires knowledge of typography, layout, color, and visual communication. Additionally, Art Director Assistant requires a bachelor's degree of art or design. Typically reports to Art Director. The Art Director Assistant gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. The Director oversees the coordination of education programs that comply with local and federal regulations, ensures that facilities are maintained, manages and supports childcare staff, and manages the center's operational affairs.

About Skagit Art Preschool:
Skagit Art Preschool (SAP) is a nonprofit early learning center for children ages 2.5-5 located in Mount Vernon, Washington. Originally founded with an art-focused, play-based curriculum, SAP has seen a lot of growth and change over the last few years. We are looking for a creative and driven individual who can take our school to the next level (academically and programmatically).
SAP is open Monday through Friday from 7am-5pm and observes most bank holidays. As a nonprofit, SAP has a board of directors mostly composed of parents; the Director interacts regularly with the board to maintain and improve the school.
