Provides internal clients with design standards, tools, and guidance on communicating corporate image, branding, and identity. Being an Art Manager oversees the design and production operations of all visual elements including publications, infographics, and social content, that are deployed across digital, interactive and print. Monitors projects and timelines. Additionally, Art Manager stays current on latest trends. Develops and manages a network of vendors, freelance artists, and designers to utilize for project support. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in art, graphic design or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Art Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Plains Art Museum is seeking applicants for Controller. This position is responsible for the effectiveness of all financial activities of the organization, including preparation of financial reports, budgets, summaries, and forecasts for future business growth and general outlook, long- and near-term financial planning, and audit. In addition, the Controller acts as lead accountant, producing accurate accounting entries while also training, advising, and leading a group of accountants engaged in all aspects of accounting for the Museum, its Center for Creativity, and large earned income generated through a variety of functions including significant charitable gaming. The salary range for this position is $75,000-$80,000, commensurate with experience.
