Core Competencies:

• Minimum of 1 year assisting experience is a plus
• CPR certification
• Prior knowledge of Dentrix software is a plus

Essential Functions:

• The Hygiene Assistant is a multi-faceted position and must possess skills in all three areas of a dental practice; clinical, business and communication.
• Assist hygienist in providing dental treatment, taking xrays, providing care and education to patients.
• A willingness to be flexible and accommodating for patients
• Consistent in cleanliness, timeliness and service and possess the ability to work in high volume environment
• Mastery in simple restorative procedures as well as crown and bridge, extractions, endodontics, implants, and clear aligner orthodontics (In the event that assisting is needed for the doctor).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 36 per week
