Art Manager manages the creative design and execution of visual communications to meet an organization's marketing or advertising objectives. Provides internal clients with design standards, tools, and guidance on communicating corporate image, branding, and identity. Being an Art Manager oversees the design and production operations of all visual elements including publications, infographics, and social content, that are deployed across digital, interactive and print. Monitors projects and timelines. Additionally, Art Manager stays current on latest trends. Develops and manages a network of vendors, freelance artists, and designers to utilize for project support. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in art, graphic design or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Art Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Art Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Lifestyles, and Good Character and Citizenship. Boys & Girls Clubs of Benton and

    Franklin Counties began in 1995 and now serves over 2200 club members each year

    at multiple club locations. The Club is currently working with community partners to

    establish additional club sites in underserved communities.

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Under the supervision of the Branch Director, the STEAM Room Lead is

    responsible for planning and implementing fun, creative, and educational

    activities for youth Kinder through 6th grade. STEAM Room Lead will be focused

    on providing activities and opportunities that focus on Science, Technology,

    Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. STEAM Room Lead is also responsible for

    ensuring program reporting is done in a timely manner and in accordance with

    grant requirements.

    The STEAM Room Lead Youth Development Professional should enjoy working

    with youth; create an environment that is safe and fun while helping members

    build confidence and skills. Youth Development Professionals foster positive

    relationships with children, families, staff, and community members.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum of one-year experience working with youth.
    • 18 years of age or older.
    • Strong communication skills in person and over phone.
    • Ability to remain poised, positive, and energetic in a busy work environment.
    • Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks and to develop solutions to

    problems.

    • Bilingual is preferred.

    $16.48-$19.10

    DOQ/DOE/Hour

    • Comfortable with basic computer skills and capable of learning a software

    tracking system quickly.

    • Be able to lift 40lbs.

    JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Works with Program Director to complete lesson plans and implement

    programs specific to STEM and Arts.

    • Contributes to the creation of the Club’s overall climate for youth

    development and success.

    • Create a program setting that ensures the health and safety of members.
    • Plans programs and activities consistent with the organization’s Youth

    Development Strategy.

    • Promote and market programs to Club members.
    • Help to manage program supplies and equipment.
    • Ensure member participation in National Boys & Girls Club programs.
    • Help to organize activities and events to show case or highlight members.
    • Help to maintain organization and cleanliness of building.
    • Other duties as assigned.
