Contemporary Art Teachers - Summer Program

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for experienced art teachers for our Summer Art Programs. We run Summer programming for all ages: K-12. Morning and/or Afternoon Sessions available. Teach for one week or multiple weeks. We are seeking art teachers with experience teaching all forms of visual arts, traditional art as well as digital art. Our digital teachers need to know Procreate, Animate, Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchBook Pro and Blender.

Our curriculum is created centrally so there is minimal prep required and all tools, equipment and supplies are provided. Our art projects are fun, engaging and inspirational. Our class sizes are small and the program is flexible to fit with your Summer Schedule. Unlike most Summer Teaching jobs we don't need you to commit to the whole Summer, or even the full day on the days you work. This is ideal for Teachers who would like to make some extra money for the Summer but also have time for a much needed break. We have openings in our New Jersey Schools: Allendale, Clark, Englewood, Middletown, Millburn, Montclair.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• 1 years of experience teaching art or digital design classes
• BFA or BS Art Education
• Thoughtful communication skills
• A passion for One River School's mission
• Must live within easy commutable distance from the School location

You will teach one or more of a variety of proprietary classes that include the following subjects:

Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Mixed media, Cartooning, Manga, Digital Art, Animation, Design, Street Art…….and more.
