This position supervises, coordinates activities of staff engaged in the installation, repair and maintenance of all electrical equipment and apparatus throughout the Museum’s buildings and grounds up to and including 480 volts.

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two‑year college or technical school in electrical theory; minimum five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Employee should have strong knowledge of electrical theory. Previous experience with various electrical testing equipment, such as volt-ohm-meter (V.O.M.), amp probe, and continuity tester required, as well as all hand and power tools.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock.
