Art & Vibez, Houston's premier paint and sip lounge, is excited to fill our space with some enthusiastic, fun-spirited paint and sip art instructor trainees who know how to have a good time! Unlike the traditional paint and sip studio, Art & Vibez is mixing the fun of art entertainment with pop culture.

The ideal person for this job will have a charismatic personality, motivation to work in a start-up environment, desire to grow their professional passion in art, knowledge of artistic and creative concepts, and a love for hip-hop and R&B music. RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Instruct beginner-friendly art classes for up to 25 novice painters

- Assist other art instructors in teaching two-hour/three-hour instructional classes

- Foster a fun and creative atmosphere for customers to enjoy their art experience

- Welcome all customers in an inviting, polite and energetic manner

- Assist customers to ensure a well-paced instructed class

- Facilitate special events and set-up materials as needed

- Must be available to work at least Friday through Sunday

Required Skills/Abilities

- Ability to work with acrylic paint

- Public speaking or performance skills

- Stellar time-management and customer service skills

- Lively and outgoing personality

Preferred Education/Experience:

- College courses in art, experience with an art instruction or related experience

- Experience working with customers

- Painting experience 6 months or more

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
