Position Overview

The Restaurant Supervisor is a full-time position who coordinates with daily operations of the Restaurant and Snack Shack. The department supervisor is responsible for supervising and training all new staff while maintaining a clean and professional work environment. Primarily day-shift with some evening events.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform job responsibilities as cashier and cook, as necessary, such as using cash register, grilling food, operating fryers, and cleaning.
• Serves as liaison between guest and park staff, including animal care and maintenance staff, communicating park information and coordinating guest needs, and helping to clarify and resolve any problems that arise.
• Listens to guest concerns and tries to reconcile guest issues in a prompt and professional manner.
• Communicate with restaurant staff during busy time while multitasking.
• Opening and closing restaurant, prepping each station.
• Create and maintain schedule for Restaurant and Snack Shack.
• Maintain food and supply inventory and order more inventory through vendors.
• Provides training to Restaurant and Snack Shack staff.
• Oversees cash handling of Restaurant activities.
• Schedules and coordinates birthdays parties, events, and large tour groups held in Restaurant.
• Provide breaks and lunch coverage to areas needed.
• Attends Operations, Supervisors, Safety and other meetings as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A minimum high school diploma or equivalency
• Must possess ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
• Must have leadership and organizational skills
• Outstanding customer service skills including conflict resolution and courtesy
• Prefer food services experience and cash handling skills
• Able to be on feet for hours at a time and able to lift 25 lbs
• Must be able to pass a drug test, including marijuana
• Candidates must agree to a background check
