Art Services Supervisor jobs in Salt Lake City, UT

Calling all ARTISTS! We are hiring for the summer and want you to join our creative team!

You will have the role of a RETAIL ART ASSISTANT, in which you will help bring the joy of Art to others! This job is fun, creative and very customer oriented. You will work in our studio assisting walk-in customers and the Art Instructor during classes. This is an entry level retail job, and on the job training is provided.

More specific retail duties include:

• Excellent customer service, talking about our services
• Cashiering and POS
• Answering the phone
• Drawing templates on canvas
• Helping customers with basic art techniques
• Washing brushes, cleaning (opening/closing duties per shift) and general studio maintenance
• Other art related tasks as assigned

This job is ideal for college students or entry level employees looking for some part time side work over the summer.

Special preferences:

For this position, we prefer someone with some fine art experience. Art skills are not required, but candidates must have an interest in fine art/acrylic and be willing to learn basic techniques. We want people with a great attitude and eagerness to share their passion for art with others!

We are located in West Jordan, UT and are seeking local Utah applicants only please.

Hours: Approximately 10-15 hrs/week

Shift: Some Weekdays 4pm-close, Weekends morning or evening shift

Pay: starting at $11/hr tips
