Art Services Supervisor supervises all phases of creative development work from concept to completion. Oversees the creation of art, photo, copy, and layout project deliverables. Supports a team of designers, copywriters, project managers and vendors with tools and resources required to complete assignments. * Responsible for the daily creative execution of projects across brands or a portfolio including new design, adapting from core materials, reviewing projects, incorporating comments, and ensuring consistency across campaign materials
* Ensures projects are on time and meet the highest standards of design excellence
* Understands brand, disease state, and competitive products
* Participate in strategic brainstorming
* Present creative work and ideas with copy partner to clients, referencing brand strategies
* Create and present conceptual ideas and oversee campaign execution including attendance at photo/video shoots (as opportunities present); engage in conversations with photographers, CGI artists, videographers, and illustrators
* Support new business efforts
* Generates new creative concepts with copy partner and presents to clients
* Strive to bring creative solutions and new ideas to the brand
* Works collaboratively with all cross-functional team members including Studio, Copy, Project Management, and Account Management
* Begin supervising direct report(s) by overseeing workload, creative output, providing regular feedback, and aiding in career development
* Attend market research, as appropriate
About You
* 5 years of pharmaceutical art supervisory experience in a fast-paced agency setting
* A compelling portfolio included with your application
* Previous leadership experience
* Solid presentations skills
* Proven ability to engage in creative conversations internally and with clients
* Proficiency in Adobe CS required, other relevant design software programs a plus
* Motivated to seek/gain additional creative opportunities and/or work on new business pitches
* Proactive about expanding knowledge of trends so you can share new ideas with your team
* Autonomous, yet you know when and how to raise questions or issues to your manager
